Accessing Your Secure Client Portal
Your Client Portal is the central place where you can complete intake forms, schedule appointments, send secure messages, access documentation, and manage your account. This page walks you through exactly how to log in, what to expect, and how to troubleshoot common issues.
What You Can Do in the Portal
Your secure portal allows you to:
- Complete your intake forms
- Upload required documents
- View or schedule appointments
- Send and receive HIPAAsecure messages
- Access invoices and receipts
- Download ESA/PSA documentation once issued
- Update your contact information
How to Access the Portal
1. Check Your Email for the Portal Invitation
After completing your contact form, you will receive an email titled: “Your Client Portal Access Link” This email contains a secure login link.
2. Click the Secure Login Link
The link takes you directly to your portal. Your portal uses password login. Please use your email address and the password you may have created to access your portal.
3. Complete Your Intake Forms
Once inside, you will see any required forms (e.g., Client History Form, Client Information Form, Emergency and Other Contacts Form, Consent for Services, Notice of Privacy Practices, Payment Authorization Form, Release of Information, etc.) under “Documents” or “ToDo Items.” Please complete these before your appointment. Please note you will be unable to schedule your appointment until you complete required forms and your payment has been received and processed.
4. Save the Portal Link
You can bookmark the portal page for future access.
Troubleshooting Login Issues
“I didn’t receive the portal email.”
- Check your spam, junk, or promotions folder
- Search your inbox for: “portal,” “intake,” “Care Haven Pets,” or “secure link”
- Make sure you are checking the same email you used during booking
“The link expired.”
If your link has expired, simply click “Resend Link” on the login page or contact us.
“I used the wrong email.”
If you booked with a different email than the one you’re checking, the portal will not recognize you. Contact us to update your email if needed.
“The page won’t load.”
Try:
- Refreshing the page
- Switching to another browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge)
- Restarting your device
- Ensuring your internet connection is stable
Security & Privacy
Your portal is fully HIPAAcompliant and uses encrypted technology to protect your information. To keep your data secure:
- Use a private device (not a work computer)
- Avoid public WiFi
- Do not share your login link with anyone
- Log out when finished
